Mineral Block Illegal in IL?

I'd like to get some mineral blocks out on my farm for the calcium and nutritional benefits, but I was told they are illegal IL due to CWD. Is this true?

I don't know if its illegal or not, but regardless if CWD is possible I wouldn't want them trading spit at a mineral lick.

Yes having mineral licks out for deer in Illinois, is illegal. It's not just because of cwd.

There is other ways to cover there mineral needs, with food plots.
