Amen, just add some 13-13-13 to the honeysuckle. They will probably like it better than anything you will plant, and around here it is a year long forage for the deer with high nutrient value.

man ol man you fuys must not have much honeysuckle around your area. IT TAKES EVERYTHING OVER it kills all the good trees and it spreads like wildfire. we have some honey suckle trunks 3 feet across. stupid chinese brought it over. if you guys dont know about honeysuckle ask anyone from south ohio and they will tell ya

are you saying if i add fertilizer to HONEYSUCKLE the brush stuff they will eat it??????????

Yes deer love honeysuckle and its nutrient rich. Just as timbercruiser already stated.

are you guys sure????
that makes no sense. do you guys know what honeysuckle is? in the fall and winter all it is, is sticks,and they will eat that?
i have never seen deer eat honeysuckle but i guess i could try
anybody here do this with honeysuckle?
i will take pictures so i can show you what it looks like
would it be worth it to even plant the plot?

would the deer be more apt to go after the fertilized honeysuckle or the imperial clover?
