Default Biologic Green Patch plus (deal or dud)?

Last year I planted Green Patch Plus from Biologic and was terribly disappointed. It came up but was spotty. Deer cleaned house and moved on in just a couple weeks. Soil test was done proper fertilizer was used but results sucked. Anyone one else have this problem. What gives?[:@]

This is Green Patch Plus -

So is this - in another plot:

The difference in each plot is the difference in soils. The 1st plot had plenty of Nitrogen, and the brassicas flourished. The second plot was lacking and never did very well. Both plots were a Late fall/winter food source more than anything else because they were mostly a brassica plot.

My only critacism would be that the clovers/oats in the mix were notvery apparent. The plot was mostly turnips & brassicas.

Nitrogen Is probalbly the main reason, but planting techniques may also have to do with it. Maybe the seed went to deep. Or moisture could as well.
