throw and gro
 
i seen at my local walmarts that they have the evolved habitats throw and gro marked down to 5 bucks a bag covers 1/4 acre any buddy have any feed back with this product? thinking about doing a spring plot would this be good to use or should i just throw out some buckwheat or oats[/align][/align]

Cheap enough price, but most of your throw and grows are mainly hunting plots. Though they will provied calcium.

Throw & Grow - isn't much differerent than grass & oats. It would not be high on my list, its cheap for a reason - really it is.

Spring planted oats don't do much for deer in most areas (fall planted oats is a different story)

Buckwheat is a great soil builder - and has some value as a summer plot. Disk it in - in September and planta Grain like winter wheat, Rye or forage oats. and you'll be well on your way.
