Default What brand of food plots?

Just kind of curious. I have been using Evovled Harvest foodt plots for a while and just wanted to get other people's take on food plots. Which food plots do you all use and prefer?

When you ask these open questions we don't know if you are in west texas or eastern new jersey.

I don't understand why more folks don't want to put their town and state so you can get a good idea where they are.....

"Good old generic seed from CO-OP."

Works in OK too. Generic milo and clay peas from the CO-OP went into the spring plots and the deer loved that.Myfall plots were sown withrace horse oatsat $9.00 for 50 pounds with some purple top turnip seeds mixed in.The deer are now hitting those plots hard.

Who does "Evovled Harvest" buy their seed from? There are only a few (3?) actual seed suppliers that all the different "food plot" companies buy seed from, then mix and repagage under their own name.

This question was not aimed at what kind of food plot i need to plant. It was aimed at what food plot brand do you buy? Biologic, Evovled Harvest, Whitetail Institute.. and etc

I've tried most of them - some are good and some not.

I like Imperial Whitetail Clover - it has a decent White clover mix thats not easily replicated from seed at the co-op. I think I can give them a thumbs up for this product anyhow. Its also readily available which is nice sometimes.

I've tried several brassica mixes and they all did well, I don't even remember the names, I know some was Biologic.

And I stay away from any name brand stuff that has oats, rye or wheat in it. I get all me corn & soybeans (rounduo ready) from the Co-op.

every areahas its own agrichallenges good farming practices are area guided. I have only 56 acres with timber, pasture, and food plots, twosoil typs and alot of rain at times only after talking with local farmers and agri agents was I really able to succeed. Local farmers are your best resource for seed selection, sources tec support.

This is usually true. In this area farmers do not raise oats, they raise wheat.Take my word for it, deer would rathereat oats than winter wheat.
