In our fall plots we plant oats: Deerlike oats better than wheat. In our spring plots we plant milo and clay peas. The peas climb up the milo stalks. The deer will eat the milo tops about the time they mature.

I've planted everything for the critters ut THE best year round attractat I've found is NOT a commercial"blend" or speciality seed but good ol' soybeans, left standing all season long. The deer tear 'e up!
