Moultrie feeder

I am want to get a feeder for after the season. Has anyone used the Moutltrie 30 gallon dinner plate gravity feeder. I wanted one without a battery to rely on?

Thanks.

I have used a gravity feeder, but not the Moultrie 30 gallon. The main problem with a gravity feeder is that you can't control when or how much feed is distributed. I went thru a ton of feed with a gravity feeder. It became too costly. It became the neighborhood bird, deer, squirrel, and raccoon feeder. I have personally found it cheaper to get a regulated feeder with a solar charger. Just my 2 cents...

Did yours dump on the ground or in a tray. This is up off the ground just high enough for the deer to get it. Tree rats and coons would not be able to get it. Thanks

Which one do you use now. I saw Moutlrie has a 200 lb version which would be better too since I live so far away from where it will be.
