Soil Tests, How to obtain a sample?
I need some assistance from the professionals. I plan on taking some samples of soil this weekend and then to the lab for testing. I need some how to help:
1) How deep should I collect the sample from? The top, six inches down, etc. 2) After taking each sample, what should I place it in? 3) How much soil is needed for a sample? Any other tips would be helpful. Thanks, Kyler Let 'Em Go, Let 'Em Grow |

Contact your local ag agent or co-op. They will have the necessary procedure for your area... What state are you in?
