Default I got Green!! Picks

I started my plot a few years ago Don't laugh you know wife, Kids, cars, house, etc. etc. No pics of before I cut the trees sorry. Here isa couple fromthe fowling year.

[ing]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v604/xovan/P1010017-1.jpg[/img]

I cut all the ferns then sprayed after they came back. Ferns ate hard to kill!!

Then the baby got sick was in hospital for months and almost died. Needles to say crap on the plot.

Now to this year. Got a free tiller from a barn and had a hell of a time keeping it running in the 90deg heat but I got a good size chunk done.

I got this done 8/23I also dumped lime, then It stormed

Got back and spread the seed on 8/30

Went for a peek today to check my cam and bat died. butI took a few picks of the progress.

Just an FYI I used ProGraze Brassica Clover Chicory mix. It was late and on sale so i am happy I got anything.

Here is my stand site from the plot.

Looks like you could still use an excavator for a couple of hours. I thought there would be a lot of sprays that would kill ferns?

Looking at your third picture; did you pack the soil down on the seed by walking on every square inch of land?
If so, I give you credit for going the extra mile.

How did you break up the ground if you can't get equipment in there?

Yes I did step all over it. It took a little bit but I wanted to give it the best chance to work.

USFWCI walked a tiller all the was back there.
