One extreme to the next.
 

Planted some shot plot last monday and prayed for rain. Got some that night, but now we got over 3" yesterday and it's rained pretty much all day today and more forecasted for tomorrow and tuesday.

Wish it would move a little south. I planted some Shot Plot Last friday. We've only had about maybe less than a 1/4" where my plot is. That front is suppose to move south. Good luck on your plot

I wish it would move alot south we have not had any rain in about 3 weeks. The temps have been in the 98-106 range.

Well if your seed doesn't get washed away you should get a good stand coming up. After over 5 weeks with less than 1 inch of rain and 100 degree temps the last 2 weeks, we finally got 2 inches Friday afternoon. I replanted all my plots Saturday with several inches of moist dirt. Hopefully we'll get some more rain after the sprout but none is forecast. Wish that hurricane would turn North, blow apart and give us a good3 or moreinches of rain as it goes by. Looks like parts of Texas has been getting flooded all year while we've got grown oaks and hickories dying from the heat and drought. All my plots so far have looked like a putting green on a golf course. The deerhaveeaten what little growth there's been and nothing has matured.

Yeah drs1961 that is one my main concerns right now, the seeds getting washed away. I'll just have to wait and see i guess. It's a pretty small plot, so if I have to re-seed it wont be to hard. I do hope you guys down south can get some rain soon, it hadbeen extremely dry up here, until this weekend.
