Default feeders

what do you guys put in your feeders besides corn that attract deer,turkeys,etc.

If it is not a broadcast feeder, add pellets for much better nutrition.

I don't know of anything else but corn for those but you might want to add a little of the granular sweetener to it for the deer.

Whatever you use dont put anything that has mollasses in it..Sun hits it the mollasses gets sticky and your feeder gums up at the spout..

I haven't found anything that attracts deer like corn that will work in a broadcast feeder.

We tried peas one year and they sat there for 6 months on the ground.

i don't know where you're at or how much you wanna spend but austrian winter peas will bring the deer buddy. no kidding,pricey but worth it.they should come out of a broadcast feeder easily

Corn is your best bet, but with the price of it and the industry I dont blame you for asking. Corn is the best attractant out of a feeder, but it many times doesnt work until very late in the year if natural feed is readily available.
