Another plot question
 

In a clearing that I'm doing I was thinking of mixing the Imperial clover with their Alfa-rack and in different spots of the plot I was going to plant apple trees and presimmons, I'm going to wrap steel wire mesh around them till they can handle the browsing from the deer.Or should I just plant the trees in a different spot?

No matter where you plant the apple trees you will need to put a fence around them, But the apple trees will do best in full sun. How you arrange them depends on how large the plot is, how many stands will be placed, how many hunters may be hunting the land at once, ect. Where might future treestands be located near the apple trees, ect.

For planting the forage products, be sure to do soil samples and to give the lime time to work in the soil before planting...
