Go over the top with round up to kill all the grass and weeds,this will also kill everything else too.if you can disc do so and disc in lime and fertilizer.If you can't disc you need to stick with the smaller seed crops lab lab needs to be disced under or drilled in the ground because it is a large seed.IF no disc after u kill everything with roundup try to scracth the surface with a drag of some sort ie.(old mattris frame) samller seeds should come up with ground contact with the right rainfall so try and broadcast it just before a rain.GOOD LUCK!

i actually sprayed round up back in May to kill everything and rotto tilled it then leveled and flatened the ground by riding over it with my riding lawn mower broadcasted the seeds and drove back over it again to getthe seed into the dirt
