Pure Attraction
 

In checking out some herbicide info I noticed where the Whitetail Institute has a new product out called Pure Attraction. It has high-sugar winter oats, Winter-Greens and WINA winter peas. Has anyone tried it or is it new for this year.

Had good luck with the Wintergreens lastseason and was looking for something to add that would get the deer on it faster in early fall.

Tecomate has a similar product calle Max Attract 50/50 minus the brassicas which I add purple turnups about 2lbs to the acre.

A buddy down the road from me was in on some of the whitetailinstitutes testing a couple years ago. He didn't know the names of the products he tested but one was the blend you described. It worked well. He didn't have but an acre but there were more deer in the oat/brassica blend than any of his other plots. I looked for the product last year but they didn't sell it. Must have still been testing. I'll give it a try this fall. I've planted a couple of their products and they were damn good. Still got a great field of the Imperial clover from 2 years ago. I'll add some pics of the clover;later, going to the camphouse tommorrow.

I've had good luck with WI products in the past and have struggled with BFO for a couple years. Not much activity here with all the native stuff.I saw the web ad with the Pureattractionhigh-sugar oat blend and it makes sense that it should work. Would it be a good idea to mix some white clover in with it? I wonder if the nitrogen-fixing will help the oats develop better?
