Does anyone in the ny area know of any places to purchase any post-emergents such as 2,4d-b ? or any places on the internet that it can be purchased from..thank you

most any farm supply, hardware, or grain elevator would have it. if you just need a small dilute quantity, walmart has it.

I haven't been able to find 2,4D-B anywhere. I ended up using 2,4D-amine on my clover (and then learned that it was not good for clover - would kill it - but my clover survived).
