Food plot question concerning yellow/sweet clover....

I have sewed yellow(sweet)and med-red clover and alphalfa together in a few food plots. I would like to knowif yelllow clover/sweet clover is not palatable to whitetails. Did I make a mistake by puting it in, and what might be the benefits?

Tecomote uses a Sweet Madrid Yellow Blossum Clover in their Monster Mix so I'm assuming it has some nutritional value and palatability to whitetail.

RE: Food plot question concerning yellow/sweet clover....

I've got soem yellow hops clover that has overtaken my white clover and alfalfa plots. The seeds sprouted from clover that was already in the fields prior to planting the white clover and alfalfa. From what I have read it is utilized the least of all clovers. And, it usually dries up during the heat of the summer. Thank goodness it is an annual!
