kidd, go for it if u have the time it wont hurt, i used to and still do the same thing your thinking about. it works . Although the deer are going to wipe it out but hell as wet of a year a were having knock on wood everything is going to grow like crazy and the deer are going to have alot to eat, so go for it it will work, i would plant milo, not much sunflowers but some and a clover of some sort that what i do and seems to work. good luck let me know how it goes.
