ron,
we just got that major rain out in front of you guys. we got about 2 inches in 3 hours. it has been unseasonably cold the last couple of days.

Chig isn't it a little too cool to plant the peas? If it doesn't warm up they might rot before they sprout.

It might possibly be. I'll let you know in a month or two. As you well know, it has been cold here lately. I have not planted summer food plots in a while. I have never planted as much as I have in the last 3 weeks. I really want the japanese sweet corn to make it. Hopefully all of the stuff I planted will make it. But bad luck tends to run in my family.

Peas are pretty hardy, they are planted up here around now or a little earlier, we get in 2 or 3 crops of peas a year... for cannery

and then we pinch off some of those packaged bisquik rolls and make drop dumplings in there... make you smack your grandmom.....
