Fencing question

Is it possible to effectively restrict the movement of wild goats and wild hogs without restricting the free-range movement of whitetail deer?

I'm wondering if a hunting property can be fenced to effectively retain wild goats and hogs while allowing the free-range movement of deer.

I would think that a hog wire fence with a heavy high strength electric fence along the bottom of it would stop both the hogs and goats. Deer, unless they are very small, can jump a 4 foot fence with no problem and hogs aren't much on jumping. What kind of goats are they? You're wanting to keep the goats and hogs in the hunting area?

I hunt in Texas and we have to keep out the hogs. We put up pens around our feeders we dont want hogs getting into. It can be done. Also combo pannels from a tractor supply can be used.

I've heard the cattle panels work great. I have just become accustomed to having hogs around the feeder at times.

You won't restrict the movement of adult deer, but you will restrict the movement of fawns, and does with fawns.

That's a good point I hadn't thought about! I guess I know how to restrict the hogs, I just don't really know much about wild rams/wild sheep and what the minimum heighth of fencing keeps them contained.
