Seed mix for food plot

Just bought the seed for my plot today. Got 4# of Imperial Whitetail Clover, 3.5# of Chicory Plus, and 2# of Biologic Alfafa. My plot is about .75 acres, so does this sound like enough seed?

If you are broadcast seeding that should be enough. Just make sure you use the proper setting on your spreader and walk fast enough so that you don't run out.

divide it in half and try and spread it over your plot evenly. adjust your seeding rate accordingly for the 2nd half

Thanks. I'll be broadcasting it, probably with a Moultrie ATV spreader. I thought about mixing it in with the fertilizer that I also need to put down. That way I wouldn't have to worry about setting the spreader for such a small amount of seed. Anybody try this before?

Mix it with sand...buy a 50 pound bag of sandbox sand from Lowes Hardware...

I agree with above post. Mix it with sand, last year when I frost seeded my clover plot, a guy that worked in Agway told us do just that.
