This willbe allright for the summer and it drops it's own seeds to germinate all over again.I didn't find a sight on clover other than buy, buy, buy. I like to read facts from non sellers to get the scoop on it before purchase. Thanks for the info guys. |

I know of the best lazy mans plot ever. Nothing! That's right nothing! Just let the land become idle and Mother Nature will do the rest.

....Bushog plotsfollowed by controlledburning and light disking every other year inrotationsto keep the plots at an early succesionary stage.....fertilize the plots to enhancenative vegetation......wouldn't hurt to seed about 10 lbs/acre of iron and clay peas to start things off in the right direction....rotational bushogging/light diskinghas it's advantages when combined with fertilization.

The area now has like hard brown stick like plants about one to two feet in heigth. I call it jingweeds.I got about2 acres of this surrounded by woods on one side and on the other 3 sides is wooded and thick mountain laurel. This field or jingweeds right in the middle and only a few trees maybe 5 in this center area. They got the cover, just need to put a food plot there to bring the deer out to feed during daylight hours.
