Milo

I came out of my standtonight frustrated because I hadn't seen a thing on a very good evening, really cooled offas opposed to all the other days this week, so they should have been moving. As I walked out of the timber, a deer bounded out of the bordering milo field and off into the woods, not 80 yards from where I'd sat all evening. I was under the impression that deer didn't eat milo. Was I wrong?

RE: Milo

Deer eat what appeals to them , maybe that one liked milo . I also see milo on many seed blends for food plots . Milo is grain sorghum , this may answer your question better:

We plant milo for the Doves and Quail and if a deer is in the mood, it will browse on it!

They'll eat milo and sudan depending on season and availability of alternative forage.
