I did some testing with an old 494 deere drill and sunflowersand sorgum. Were I didn't till and spreyed herbicidr twice I had the best growth. Were I tilled I had soil erosion, nutrient loss, and smaller sunflowers.

I don't understand why anyone would disk or plow if they were going to plant a food plot with a seed drill.( Some farmer is going to kill slam me to death but so what.) You would just be making inactive weed seeds active to compete against the sunflowers. So you only get 80 percent germination instead of 95 percent. Big deal I always seem to over seed. I am making habitat more than yield.
