anybody have any piks of one i have yet to find or see one on the internet i have checked walmart ,home depot,lowes......ext

what are yalls says on this product?

i am planning to make a foodplot but i want to try to make it as inexpensive as possible.would it be good for planting seeds or atleast better than a rake because i think i am gonna use throw and grow or hot spot not to sure yet but yalls feedback would really help ...thanks

IMHO it sounds like a waste of time for a GOOD foodplot. Why waste the time and money if you aren't going to go for a good plot?

A dethatching device will only remove dead impacted grass blades , it won't remove all of the grass . Rent a sod cutter and remove all of it at least 2" deep or you'll have grass out the wazoo before you know it .

it'll be much easier than using a rake, and will produce the same effect.

Actually that is not a bad idea. I used a dethatching blade once on my push mower years ago. It trashed the lawn enough to require over seeding and I never used it again.

but you are right, to rake ground and expose more soil, it would work great for "no-til" type brassica and clover plots. Roundup the plot at least 2 weeks ahead of raking and planting.

oh well i was lookin up on buying a 200 dollar tiller from home depot the brand is ryoby any of yall heard of it?
