deer feed

I have recently started setting feeders around my farm 6 to be exact the feed I am using is as follows 50# ground corn,50# Manna Pro Super Sweet horse feed,20# soybeans, 5# Buck Bran and 1# dry molasses. my question is does this sound like a good recipe? thanks chad

RE: deer feed

sounds like to much work/trouble to me. I would just use a protein type of feed or deer chow in spring and summer, then switch to corn in Sept. Alot of the times, I just use corn, but I know this is not ideal.

Sounds like you're not only spending way too much but you're also headed for some severe clogging problems when the humidity gets high . Stick with Deer Chow or whole grains .

i would stick with straight whole kernal corn. it's much easier than trying to mix a blend.
