ok guys what do i do first second then third...turn the soil or throw down the lime...and how much lime is enough

Soil test first and they will tell you the needed amount of lime. A lot of folks say just throw it out on top, but I like to cut it in with a disc. It will take a few months for it to work.

Yes, definately work it into the soil instead of leaving it on top

throw down the lime then work up the soil.

you probably need around a ton or two per acre, and that is just a swag.

(swag = scientific wild azz guess).

Spray it with roundup first to kill the weeds.
