fertilizing question

I just went out to the hunting land, and checked the ph-level of the soil of my one acre food plot, I am new tothis food plot thing but I am willing to learn, the averag ph-level was 6.7 so I may not need to lime it. but my question is. whatkind of fertlizer will I need ? and how much of it will I need.it is only one acre, and I will be planting a mixture ofclover, chicory, brassica, and turnip.thanks in advance. Stevie

RE: fertilizing question

Do yourself a favor and send it to a lab for testing. They will send you a report telling you the suggested amount of lime and fertilizer based on the crop(s) you intend to grow. If you used a ph meter beware of the results!
