I enclosed an area with this product (PLOT SAVER) a few weeks back & since that time we sprayed the ribbon two times in a five week period. The direction said, it would keep deer away for 3 to 4 weeks. When I went to ckeck on the new clover field just before dusk there were seven deer inside the plot.Upon inspection, the deer are eating the clover as mush as on the outside of this area.

Would I buy this product again. No.

You would have had better luck with rotten eggs , deer really hate that smell .

Something I'd like somone to try is Milorganite.
It's a low number fertilizer that is made from sewer sludge.
I've heard it has a smell [:'(]that keeps deer out til a few rains wash it in.
It seems like it might be good to use early in the growing season to get plants established.

That might work , I know that I wouldn't want to eat in the middle of a patch of ass smelling greens ... [:'(]

I haven't tried this, but, the old-timers in South MS use their own sweaty shirtsto keep deer off gardens. After a day outside, hang your smelly clothes near the plots, since you change clothes every day, just replace the items every few days. My father-in-law used to farm a large area in Green Co. MS and he said they tried everything including mountain lion pee (this one upset the livestock and pets so bad that it was banned on his farm! LOL.), the dirty clothes were the only thing that worked. Think about how deer react when they smell you on stand.....
