help please!
 

i need serious help! i have found the biggest whitetail i have ever seen. the problem is he spends alot of time on the property next to where i can hunt. he does have to get water at the propety i hunt. and i have found some beds around the water hole.
my problem is i have to get this buck to spend more time close to the water hole and on the property i can hunt! how do i do this? any thoughts would great help! thanks

While maintaining a good bedding area, start some food plots that will be ready during the rut. If you can hold the does, the bucks will be there when the rut kicks in. After the plots are planted, don't make a lot of unnecessary trips to the area till you are ready to hunt. Always hunt with the wind.

timbercruiser bout said it all. if the does are there he will also.give him what he wants to eat then set back and wait.
food plots and maybe some corn feeders (if legal in you area) mineral licks.

i have a trail camera out. if i get his pic. i will try to sow it? i also will try to get a pic. with my digatal camera tonight. after work i am going up to try to scout a little more!
what shall i plant for the fall? it will need to withstand the harsh fall in wyoming, maybe some snow, or it could be nice 60 degrees! any help would great!

couldn't you just put a timed feeder out there? you can get one for about 30 bucks, it'll hold 40 lbs of feed. just set it to go of in the morning and evening, some of them come preset for something like sunrise and 30 minutes before sunset.

Rarely will the biggest buck eat in the best little plot - sometimes not even the best really big plot - at least not in the daylight hours.

Big bucks tend to move around alot come hunting season. The best thing you can do is make your area attractive to the Female Deer - and keep the humaninterference to a minimum, "your buck" has already shown that for some reason he likes the area - the does will keep him coming around in October/November.

If you feel you need to plant to keep the does around, try Not Hunting the plot - make it a sanctuary of sorts - hunt the trails to and from - it will not scare off a mature buck as quickly as he scent checks the plot come October.
