Dove Feild

Was wondering if anyone knew of a good seed blend for dove feilds in Florida. I'm going to definatley use brown top millet but was wondering if I should mix it up a bit? I have 40 acres and think I will do 4 1-2 acer plots

Brown top, sunflowers, andsessame seeds can be planted now to draw doves. I think I would plant it in 30 or so foot strips.

the sunflowers i am familiar with take about 110 days to mature. if you planted them tomorrow, they wouldn't be mature until the start of november. i'm not sure what the season dates are in fla. if it's like kansas, the season starts sept 1 and goes for about 60 days. with that in mind, go with a shorter maturity crop like millet, it'll be ready when the season starts.
