What kind of plant?

:eek:I just got about a 75 acre lease for this bow season. I am going to only hunt it with bow and muzzleloader. Under my tree stand there i about and acre opening and would like to put a plot. I would loke to plant it in August or some where around there and was wondering what I could use. Thankx

Plant soybeans there right now and start the deer coming to that location, then in Sept disc it and sow wheat or rye ...

Shot plot. Planted it last year in western NY deer loved it. They would dig though 1' of snow to get the stubble that was left. Cost about 11 to 15$ for enough for 1/2 acre. Make sure to lime or you will be waisting you time and money.
