atv accessories for food plots question
Does anyone use atv accessories(disc harrow,...etc) to do food plots, and do you have some good success with the plots( not growing many weeds...etc ) Im thinking of buying a disc for my atv but im not sure how well it will work.

RE: atv accessories for food plots question
IME ATV food-plot accessories (the heavy-duty ones) will only ruin your ATV over time, especially if you plan on doing multiple plots. If this is the case - use a tractor if possible. For plots one acre or less - assuming it's the only one you will maintain, an ATV can and will do the job. I bought an atv disk from Lowes for about $160 that works O.K. (better than nothing). For a harrow I simply drag a piece of hurricane fence with cinder blocks bungee-corded to the gate for added weight. In accessible areas, you can use a truck (4wd) to do the nasty work, and finish it off with the ATV.
