Scoring on the Boone and Crocket ??

Hunters,

I just went to the web-site to learn how to score a buck on the B&C . Everything was pretty clear for me except the circumfrance. Do you measure around the beam under the point ,or arouind the base of the point itself.

The "H" measurements are taken around the beam at the midpoint between the tines.

Thank you very much. I figured the others out. Now I need to shoot a nice racked deer this fall and I'll be all set.

Actually, the H measurements are made at the SMALLEST circumference between the respective points. Only on an H-4 measurement of an 8-pointer do you measure "at the midpoint", the midpoint between the G-3 tine and the end of the main beam.
