You found both of those racks? Wow!
Thanks guys. Actually my grandpa found both of them dead on his land. He saw the big typical rack laying in a creek-bed when we were hunting about 4 years ago. He told me about it and I went back a couple days later and picked it up.

The other droptine buck he found dead out in the feild, during another hunt 2 years ago. He picked this one up though. Not sure what killed either of the deer. He's not a antler hunter, so he gave them to us for everyone to enjoy.

My grandather recently was diagnosed is lung and brain cancer and is not doing very good. I showed him the deer during Easter, and it brought a smile to his face. With as much pain as he feels these days, he doesn't seem to smile much anymore, so I'm really glad I could do something for him and try to give something back. Hunting, and a lot of things, are not quite the same without him...

Nice job on the mounts!! Sorry to hear about your Grandfather, I lost both of mine years ago but have many great memories of time spent together on past hunts. God Bless!!
