Scoutin

I went Scoutin yesterday and found a well used trail that leads thru a little open meadow then goes back into the woods. followed i up in the woods and it just seems to kinda "dissapear". I dunno what to do. Would it be a good place to hang a stand in the edge of the woods?

the area where it just kind of dissappears is near their bedding area more than likely if there is thick stuff around. Do not set up your stand to close to where the trail dissappears, hang it where the trail becomes well defined.

Yep. A heavily used trail peetering out like that probably indicates that the deer are dispersing to find a bedding site.
I too would set up where the trail is heavily used.

there is a creek bottom that runs on one side of the meadow. its REAL thick in there. but the way i followed it is going uphill and eventually leads into a lil acorn patch. but i cant see the trail going up the hill...i figured the bedding area was by ther creek
