Important: Gun rights
 

If the moderators will indulge a quick post here regarding gun ownership rights, I want to make everyone here aware of a potential 2008 presidential candidate who is a very strong supporter of our 2nd amendment right to keep and bear arms. Gov. Mike Huckabee of Arkansas (he's a conservative Republican) is being talked about for the upcoming wide-open election. cant belive that i am saying this bout a republican but i like him i think he will realy stand up for us that is if this isnt just a big joke and he is lying to get votes but i think he might help us and other will disagree just my 2c

Sorry, I don't care what his position is I wouldn't vote for him. I'm originally from Arkansas and most of my family is still there. They regard him as a joke and a buffoon and they are Republicans as am I. The Republican party needs to come up with someone strong in 2008, Bush is a hard act to follow (I voted for him for Govenor here in Texas and for President twice).
