If them cat lovers want to squander their money on catch and release it is ok with me. But when a wild cat takes up residence at my place the dogs run him off right away.

The cats are not native and I think as fast as they breed it would be a probblem.They can wipe out the birds,grouse and pheasant. I think they need to be controled somehow.

They are looking at it from the wrong point of view, If they are causing problems i beleive it would be ok to shoot them. My fathers foreman wants to get rid of some because their are soo many running around his house, and some are causing damage. He couldn't shoot them, but he was going to pay me to.. I decided i probably couldn't but, in a situation like that i think you should be able to shoot them

I love the topic, but I bet you get deleted. The one about shooting stray dogs didn't last long. This forum is most "politically correct" bunch that I have ever seen to be "sportsmen". I have not been a cat fan since I have worked around chicken farms in my college days. Cats will find anyway to get into a house full of baby chicks and swipe the heads off and leave the rest and will take out hundreds in a night. I started hunting them for the farmers, and wild ones make for a tough prey. To answer the above question, cats DO taste like chicken.

If she only knew how many Oriental Resturant's have Substituted
feral cat's as Pork on thier steam line. Two here in Tampa,FL and
