I hunt with both. I use a tikka .300 wsm. My bow is a reflex super slam.

Whatever it takes to get in the woods, but mostly a longbow. During gun season it’s a Remington 7400 auto 30-06 150gr noslers . During bow season it’s a Jerry Hill Deer Stalker Deluxe or a Jennings Buck Master with 25” xx78ss 2312 & 100gr MUZZYs.

I hunt all the season available to me in my home province and as long as it is hunting I am just tickled.

Currently hunt with a .30-30 and a 30-06 depending on my mood. Next season I hope to be using a bow as well, a Reflex Grizzly to be precise.

I am starting my 49th year of Bowhunting. I have never purchased a biggame gun tag of any kind but see nothing wrong with it. I have been fortunate to have taken MANY various Biggame animals with a bow. Goof luck to all, no matter how you hunt...Just enjoy...

I hunt with both. My bow is a Hoyt Intruder-Raider,rifle is a remington 7400 in .243 and southern NY is shotgun only(no rifle) so I use a Remington 1100 in 12 gauge,and finally a T/C Black Diamond in .50 Cal.
