I live in Southern Mn, and I think they start fawning in May sometime.

It will vary greatly, depending on what part of the country you are in. THey are chasing does here now.

Here in Alabama, fawns are usually born from late July to mid August. Later births are the result of does being bred in their 2nd or 3rd estrous cycle.

I think the gestation period for whitetail deer is about 200 days....or about 6/1/2 - 7 months after they have been bred.
