A Lot of NICE WT Deer Mounts
 

I really have enjoyed being a member of this web site and appreciate all you guys sharring the pictures of your mounts and your hunts. I wanted to take the time and post these pictures of mounts that hang in the home of my outfitter Don Tyschck in Alberta Canada. He and his dad took these deer over the last 25yrs with the BIG non-typical scoring over 200 B&C being taken by Dons 65yr old dad. I took these pictures while setting around talking with Don and hoping I might get a chance at a MONSTER like one of these and if you have seen my post of "MY Alberta Whitetail" then you know I did get lucky. At anyrate I hope you enjoy these pictures ...

I think I like the latest buck best. That's a mighty fine collection of some very impressive whitetails. Congrats on past and hopefully continued success!

Have you any trophies other then deer?

This is a picture of the deer my buddy Glen from North Carolina took with Don the week before I was there .... a very nice 10 point with LOTS of mass ..scored around 170 gross ... he double lungged it at 200yrds ...

Thank you Allen it is a hunt of a lifetime. I live in Alabama and would never get a chance at deer like this here ... I would reccomend this hunt to anyone ...its a tuff hunt ... 11 hour days in the "box" ...sub freezing temps .....you wont see just a LOT of deer so you have to be patient BUT man if you do get to shoot and score ...WHAT a reward ... I highly recomend Don Tyschuk ...his web site is www.albertawhitetailconnection.com ....its a GREAT hunt ..

if you really like big whitetails you can't beat Canada, the areas i have hunted have been at the manitoba/sask border, man they grow'em big. not taking anything away from the states like ill. kan. tex. iowa and the others i've missed, but everybody owes it to themself to go once.

I've never hunted out of my home state. But I wonder whats it like to come home and hunt "normal" deer? Great pics.

Recurve I HAVE to admit I LOVE going to Canada and hunting their big deer, there is nothing like it in my book however I live in Alabama and even though our bucks are about half the size its still a pleasure to hunt them and just be in the woods. I guess Im old enough now to have learned to appreciate the hunt for more then just the kill ..ANY buck harvested legally is a trophy in my eyes ... thank you for your kind compliment.

Have you herd back from the pubishers of the Big Buck Mag?I was wondering which monthly issue your story will be published?
Have you got a name for that Buck yet.
A deer that size is deserving of a name.

Jeff I will not get the mount back until the end of this month at which time I will make some pictures of it and send them to Big Buck and Rack magazines ... Rack plans on comming to my town to make pictures of their own and meansure the rack ... I assume the story will be in the summer but Im not really sure ... no I do not have a name for my buck but would love to hear some suggestions ...thanks for your comments ..
