I read in a magazine that those pictures were made by Georgia state personel while flying over south Georgia.

The pictures were made in SE Georgia. Lots of gators here. If you've got water you've got a gator.....but that's a BIG gator!

That's a reality hunting in Florida. Walking through the swamp armed with only a bow at times is still scary.I once walked through a 1 foot puddle on my way to my stand. I kept hearing splashes. Once I arrived at that puddle at dawn because I overslept. I saw what was making the splashes next to me. A 10 foot gator. I don't walk through puddles anymore during bow season.

It don't hurt to carry an extra flashlight.
