i used them this fall on a moose hunt. i used 180 grain, nosler bullet, 30.06. on a pretty much broadside shot on a cow moose. she was seventy yards or so away, took two about four inches apart in the lungs, crossed the brook, took a third one quartering away, opposite side, dropped. i would use them again in a heartbeat. the third member of my party saw the moose after she had been scun, and happened to mention that he couldn't believe the size of the exit hole( wasn't present at the time of the hunt). the more we talked about it, the more i realized he was talking about the entrance wounds! four inches apart, he said that he could have put his fist through the whole, that's the kind of job they did. total distance she walked after the first bullet, maybe another twenty yards, if that.

I used their Vital Shok with the AccuBond bullet this year for 2 deer. I like the close range performance of it better than the ballistic silvertips I used to use, I shot one doe at about 20 yards with it and it exited after taking out both shoulder blades. My Ballistic Silvertips would not exit on a close shot through lots of bone like this. I shot another buck with them at about 75 yards, and he took it through both lungs and the top of the heart, and didn't even quiver, just dropped like a stone.
