This may sound stupid, but is there such thing as a white deer, not an albino but a true white deer?

I think he means a deer that is all white, but does not suffer from albinism. There are such deer around. Also black and piebald.

Here's a few. The first one isn't really "white", but the other two are all white haired, but with normal pigment in their skin and eyes.

You would have to check your local game laws. In some places albinos are not legal, but piebalds are, some places are open gun on any white-tail regardless of pigment, etc. Where are you hunting?

There are deer farms that raise all white deer that are not a true albino with pink eyes. Then people pay to shoot them

In my state I think you can shoot any deer during it's season.Cardeer that really stinks but I can see it happening.

Some say around here if you shoot an albino deer then you will die within 7yrs. I dont believe but it has proven to be true in some cases.When i see them i just let them walk on by. I have alot in my area that i hunt so they arent that rare to me.
