i have one, got it for my 16th b-day.

It doesnt pay for deer/turkey tags, but it does save me from 15 each for hunting and fishing licenses every year.

Also, if i ever move from Il, i will still be considered a resident in deer and turkey tag drawings, rather than several hundred, those tags will still only be $15.

I live in IN and just bought mine it cost 855 but is well worth the money. It will pay for itself in no time. Tag prices are going up and I was tired of paying 150 a year for tags and licences. Hope that it is that good for you.

Got one as a gift 4 years ago here in Louisiana. Fishing/hunting combo lifetime license was $500.

The only thing I have to purchase each year is the federal duck stamp.

shoot stuff my cuz is the same way lives in ia but lifetime hunt lic in il

i wont get one cuz to pay for it i would have to hunt every year till im about 70
so ill go year to year but i get it for a gift everyyear anyway so i dont worry about

i got one, im from indiana too, i bought mine about 3-4 yrs ago at 525.00 before a huge mark up.
i have to say its thebest money i have ever spent, already paid for it self.

They are well over $1,000 here so ill probably never own one, id rather just spend the $25-$50 a year to get an anual one

I have mine (West Virginia) and in july my wife and I are having a baby and he/she will be getting one. If you buy it by a certain age (1 or 2 yrs old) it is half price.

I don't have one yet, but I'll be getting both hunting and fishing lifetime when I get my tax return back. I'm 31 now and if I hunt until I'm 64 and fee's never go up, it'll cost me $560.00 just for hunting licenses. I'll get both for $500.00. Wish I'd gotten one from my home state before I moved, now it's going to cost me out the wazoo to go back to hunt with my dad and brother.[:@]
