Default Buck officially scored B&C

I really hope I am not sounding like one of those "guys," because I am really a humble guy, but I wanted to share with you all whom I have learned so much from. I originally posted back in November when I shot the deer. Since then, the 60 day drying period has elapsed and my buck has been officially scored by the local TWRA (Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency) game warden, who is also an official scorer for B&C. It still amazes me, but the scores are as follows:

Gross: 178 6/8
Deductions: 5 2/8
Net: 173 4/8

According to the Tennessee Deer Registry, a database compiled by the TWRA as I understand it, the buck will tie for 9th in the All-Time Typical for firearms for the state of Tennessee. That's just crazy. As an update, I shot this deer on November 12th, at 1:30 pm, on the Tennessee side of the Fort Campbell military reservation, where I am stationed.

Again, thanks to all of you who have helped me become a better hunter. Though I don't post a whole lot in the few years I've been a member here, I read constantly.

Here's a picture or two:

Great deer. Gives you a real real prespective on what it takes to get a deer in the 175 class.

I saw on another post that you are expecting a baby next month. A B&C buck AND a Baby? I would say that you are especially blessed. Congratulations on both. You might want to hang it nearby the crib
Who knows, maybe it'll inspire the young one.
anyway, congratulations
