I don't think mounts get any prettier than a thick, wide 8-10 point whitetail with good browtines. Yours is 5 for 5! Great deer.

Nice deer. Next time at your taxidermist tell him to pay more attention to the hair patterns around the front leg areas and to pay more attention to the hair where the form is screwed to the panel. I think it looks better to have it laid down than standing all helter skelter.
Last FYI they do make quality panels that are not of plywood with the edges stained but most taxidermists think all the customer wants is cheap, not something like walnut or oak.

Please don't take this negative. Its a good mount and nice buck overall. Just food for thought.

That is a very nice 8 point buck and the mount looks good. I love those tall brow tines. Congrats!
