I hunted a spot once that when it warmed a bit in the afternoon, I would be covered with honey bees. It seems there was a nest in the next tree and while in the morning it would be cold so they wouldn't appear, when the woods warmed up ..look out!. If you took out a sandwich, forget it. They would eat it out of your hand.
We still call that spot the "bee tree"

It was a 15 ft. tower stand with walls, a door,roof all that good stuff. You dont wear a saftey harness in those. I slipped on the ladder because I was in such a hurry to get out.When Im in a climber I wear one.
