Has anyone here booked a Texas whitetail hunt through this outfitter?
My father and I are trying to find a place in Texas for a once- in -a lifetime whitetail hunt.
Any suggestions/recommendations would be appreciated.

A buddy of mine owns the beaver creek ranch it is under high fence but it is big, IMO, at around 2k acres. In addition to a nice white tail population he has exotics running around as well. A very nice place. Well manged and maintained. While I can't afford to hunt it I take my boys out riding 4 wheelers when the hunters are not around. They love it and we do see some nice game sometimes.

I would look into a hunt in Saskatchewan for that amount,it will be fair chase also.

I've met Greg, owner of WSI, several different times. Greg leases some great whitetail property through out Texas, and they produce some really nice bucks each year. They have a couple of ranches in north Texas, hunts on those ranches are alittle cheaper then hunts in south Texas, but that area of north Texas still produces great bucks. Personally if I booked a whitetail hunt with Greg, I would try to get on at the La Rucia ranch in Brooks county. Thats a great area of the state to hunt, and Brooks county is quite different then other parts of south Texas.

There are alot of ranches in Texas that book hunts but from what I understand, wildlife systems is one of the best. Good luck with your hunt and keep us posted...
