Archery opening day photos part 1

Yesterday was our opening day for archery season and being a long weekend we were able to get out. We ran into a pile of bucks but did not connect. I am able to hunt with my bow, muzzleloader and rifle so my buddy who only has an archery tag was going to do the shooting today if we had any chances. I was able to take a pile of pictures of some nice bucks. I will post some here and some on a separate post so it does not take so long to load. There was nothing I was interested in since I have all three seasons to hunt but my buddy would have taken a couple if they had presented a shot. We had a couple of close calls but no shots were taken.

Wow Sask, ya got some awesome pics of some awesome bucks there. I only wish I could see some of those down here in Arkansas. You did a good job, what kind of camera and lense are you using?

The best of luck in all your hunting endeavors!!!

Cleeby and deerdust

The photos were taken using a digital still camera. It is an Olympus C2100UZ digital camera. It has a 10X optical zoom which is equivalent to a 380mm on a 35mm camera. I also have a 1.7X teleconveter on the camera.
