Default Barnyard 88 scent

You know what . I have tried and smelled several doe in heat scents. Basically they all smell the same. INfact you know what they smell like ??? I did this. go to your local farm. In the barnyard where cattle sheep or horses or pigs or all combined slop around and urinate. On a rainy day collect the run off from the barnyard. It smells like tinks 69 or the others. And it is free. tried some this year in a scrape . The deer tore up the scrape like normal.

I hear ya. I always thought it smelled like the animal pee at a zoo. I know there must be something different because after I have used the estrus pee my dog gives me weird looks when I get home. After I use the normal early season pee my dog does not give it two sniffs. It might sound weird but I swear which ever pocket I had put the bottle in he will jam his nose into my lag take a few deep sniffs then snort and take more deep sniffs untill I push him away.

I wonder if cow pee from when she is in esterus would work ?
I think next fall I will try it out ,I have several uncles that milk cows.
A cow pees about a gallon or more so 1 or 2 cows pee should be enough for me and several of my freinds.

Go for it. I think it was either in a book by Miller or Alshimer. They said they would pee in the scrapes all the time and deer would tear at it. Figured average adult pee's about 10 ounces or so 1 cup of dunkins coffee on the way to your spot is about $2.00. $2.00 = 10 ounces or so of your pee versus 7 or 8 bucks for 2 ounces from the store.
